Respite care

Do you need a short break or a holiday in our very special rural historic countryside estate?

It may be that you are recuperating from an operation or a spell in hospital or are waiting for major works to be completed to your current home. Perhaps you may just want to give yourself or your family a break.

We are happy to help if you do.

Or you may wish to spend some time to assess if you would like your long term home to be with us, as many others have done after spending time with us in respite care.

One of our recent residents did just this. His son told us his father decided to make a permanent move into one of our residential care apartments for three reasons:

  • the friendliness of everyone in our care team and our other residents
  • the sheer beauty of Lady Katherine Leveson Court’s historic setting with its Parish Church; and
  • most important for him, his absolute passion for our home cooked food.

You can choose between staying in either one of our ensuite residential care apartments or you can be more independent in a independent living apartment  depending on the level of support you require. In either, you would feel safe in the knowledge of our 24-hour on site care.

Care homes in the Solihull, Warwick and Leamington Spa area all vary in the different living options they offer to residents, but we consider Lady Katherine Housing & Care to be quite special in that you would have the flexibility to move seamlessly from an independent living flat (sheltered housing), to a residential care apartment, all fully modernised and CQC regulated, within our listed historic buildings.

As your needs change your care package can be modified to accommodate your requirements and the way you live would flow from one option to another.

During your time with us in respite care you would be able to make friends in our communal lounges and dining room, enjoy our home cooked food and participate in the special events and regular activities programme we offer living here at Lady Katherine Housing & Care in our friendly community.

Do come and visit, have a cup of tea and slice of cake with us, chat to our other residents and let us show you all we have to offer.

Please do call or email us to make an appointment to visit and to discuss your requirements.
